Dr. Anna (Madland) Bender

Bio

Dr. Anna (Madland) Bender received her doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa after her undergraduate studies in Biology at Winona State University in Minnesota. Her extensive postdoctoral training has centered around pediatric and prenatal chiropractic including a combination of myofascial release and craniosacral work for moms and babies.


In 2004, she opened Atlee Chiropractic Center, with the goal of being a trusted resource in the community, educating and improving the quality of life for people of all ages and stages.  Since 2017, she has been honored in Richmond Magazine's "Top Docs" as one of Richmond's best chiropractors.


Dr. Bender is a Chair of the Education Committee in the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. She is a member of the International Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the American Chiropractic Association. She is a past Board member of the Hanover Education Foundation and CJ's Thumbs Up Foundation.

 

In her free time, Dr. Anna enjoys her daily yoga practice and loves making memories with her husband and son by camping, hiking, and going to music festivals.
